A wire is in the form of a semicircle of radius 7 cm. Find the length of the wire.
Answer :
Given the radius of semicircular wire is 7 cm.
We have, Circumference of a semicircle = πr, where r is the radius.
Total Length of the Wire = Circumference of semi Circle + 2 r
Total Length of the wire = πr + 2r
Here, r = 7 cm
⇒ C = 22 + 14 = 36 cm
Hence, the length of the wire is 36 cm.
