(x – 1)(2x – 1) = 0

Answer :

Given: (x – 1)(2x – 1) = 0

2x2 – 3x + 1 = 0


Comparing with standard quadratic equation ax2 + bx + c = 0


a = , b = , c = – 1


Discriminant D = b2 – 4ac


= (– 3)2 – 4.2.1


= 9 – 8 = 1
