Q. 1 A4.0( 41 Votes )

# Find the later surface area and total surface area of the following right prisms.

Answer :

Given, l = b = h = 4cm.

Formula Used:- total surface area = 2(lb + bh + lh)

Lateral surface area = 2h(l + b)

Here all dimensions are equal i.e. l = b = h = a(say)

Hence, total surface area = 6a^{2}

= 6 × 4^{2}

= 96cm^{2}

Lateral surface area = 4a^{2}

= 4 × 4^{2}

= 64cm^{2}
