⇒ x ϵ A and x ϵ A [∵ x ϵ B and x ∉ B are not possible simultaneously]
→ x ϵ A
∴ (A ∩ B) ∩ (A – B)⊂ A…(2)
From (1) and (2), we get
A = (A ∩ B) ∩ (A – B)
