Q. 4 H5.0( 1 Vote )

Factorize :

3x3 – 75x

Answer :

Given 3x3 – 75x = 3x × x2 – 3x × (5)2

Taking 3x common,

3x3 – 75x = 3x (x2 – (5)2)

Comparing with a2 – b2 = (a + b) (a – b)

a = x and b = 5

So, 3x3 – 75x = 3x(x + 5)(x – 5)
