If A = {5, {5, 6}, 7}, which of the following is correct?
A. {5, 6} ∈ A
B. {5} ∈ A
C. {7} ∈ A
D. {6} ∈ A
Answer :
In the given set we have been given that 2 elements and 1 set
Elements are 5, 7 and {5,6} is the set
So, {5,6} ∈ A.
All the other options are not correct
Because {5} is a set not an element, so it does not belongs to A , but 5 ∈ A
In the same way {6}, {7} are sets not elements.
