# Using a suitable identity, find each of the following products:

(100 + 3) (100 – 3)

Answer :

∵ (a^{2} – b^{2}) = (a – b) × (a + b)

∴ (100 + 3) (100 – 3) = (100)^{2} – (3)^{2}

⇒ (100 + 3) (100 – 3) = 10000 – 9 = 9991
