# Write the rationalizing factor of the following.

Given, √2 +√3

Need to find the rationalizing factor

We know that if the product of two surds is rational then each is called a rationalizing factor of each other

(√2 + √3)(√2 – √3)

= 4 –√6 + √6 –3

= 1 is a rational number

Rationalizing factor of (√2 + √3) is (√2 – √3)
