Q. 1 A4.6( 7 Votes )

# Expand the following

(5x + 2y + 3z)^{2}

Answer :

(5x + 2y + 3z)^{2}

The identity is

(x + y + z)^{2} = x^{2} + y^{2} + z^{2} + 2xy + 2yz + 2zx

∴ (5x + 2y + 3z)^{2}

= (5x)^{2} + (2y)^{2} + (3z)^{2} + 2(5x)(2y) + 2(2y)(3z) + 2(3z)(5x)

= 25x^{2} + 4y^{2} + 9z^{2} + 20xy + 12yz + 30zx
