# Draw the graph of 2x – 3y = 4. From the graph, find whether x = -1, y = -2 is a solution or not. (Final)

Given equation, 2x – 3y = 4

3y = 2x-4 When x=-4, then,    y = -4

When x=-1, then,    y = -2

When x=2, then,   y = 0

When x=5, then,    y = 2

Thus we have the following table,

 X -4 -1 2 5 Y -4 -2 0 2

On plotting these points we have the following graph, Clearly, from the graph (-1, -2) is the solution of the line 2x – 3y = 4
