Answer :

Given equation, 2x – 3y = 4

⇒ 3y = 2x-4

When x=-4, then,

⇒ y = -4

When x=-1, then,

⇒ y = -2

When x=2, then,

⇒ y = 0

When x=5, then,

⇒ y = 2

Thus we have the following table,

X | -4 | -1 | 2 | 5 |

Y | -4 | -2 | 0 | 2 |

On plotting these points we have the following graph,

Clearly, from the graph (-1, -2) is the solution of the line 2x – 3y = 4
