For example, agro-based industries like sugar and textiles are dependent for raw materials on agriculture. Tools and implements like PVC pipes, fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, etc. required for cultivation of a field are manufactured by industries. These products help in increasing the productivity of farmers.

Thus, it can be said that both are dependent on each other for increasing their efficiency.
