Destruction of forests has resulted in the loss of cultural diversity. Explain

Answer :

Forests cover over 31% of the land area of our planet. They produce oxygen which is vital for a living and also provides homes for people and wildlife.

In recent years due to industrialization forests are being cleared and it poses threat to the environment:

a. Many tribal communities depend upon forest for their livelihood.

b. The forest dwellers are complexly dependent on the forest for its resources.

c. The life of these forest dwellers is largely impacted and especially women as they go to search for food and woods.
