The ideas flowed and spread through the Russian revolution globally influenced and many countries tried to adopt some ideas which were successful during the Revolution. In many parts of the world, communist parties like Communist Party of Great Britain started forming. As Bolshevik took various steps to make Russia a socialist society such as –permission was given to the peasants to cultivate the land that had been socialised; they made five-year plans which was part of their centralized planning; to increase industrial production, new industries were set up, etc; from this they encouraged colonial people to follow their path.
Many people who were not Russians and from outside USSR, participated in the Conference of the Peoples of the East (1920). Some people received education in the USSR’s Communist University of the Workers of the East. The Bolshevik also founded Comintern which is an international union of pro-Bolshevik socialist parties. As countries started recognizing that socialism had made such backward country a great power. Development took place in industries and agriculture, poverty reduced.
But the main issue was that basic freedom of the citizens was not recognized and development took place through oppressive policies. Thus, globally even though socialist ideals were respected but they also considered that each country understood the concept of socialism in a variety of ways.
