(a) When a di or polydentate ligand uses its two or more donor atoms to bind a single metal ion so as to form a ring like structure then the complex form is called chelate complex. E.g. ethylenediamine cadmium complex.
(b) Ambidentate ligand is a ligand which can legate through two different donor atoms. E.g. CN- and NC- (it can legate through C and N both), NO2- and ONO-.
(Ammine and aqua both are neutral ligands)
(en i.e. ethylenediamine is a bidentate ligand)
