(i) Fuel cells are electrochemical cells which converts which converts chemical energy into electrical energy through redox reactions. The energy of combustion of fuels like methane, methanol, etc. are converted directly to electricity through these fuel cells.

(ii) When the concentration of any electrolyte in a solution approaches to zero, the molar conductivity present is termed as limiting molar conductivity. It is represented as ^°m.

The conductivity of an electrolytic solution decreases with decreases with decrease in the number of ions present in the solution.
