Define an interme

Answer :

Intermediate goods are those goods which are used for further production or resale purpose. Intermediate goods are those which are within the boundary line production, value is yet to be added and is not ready for sale or consumption.

Value of intermediate good is not included in national income. If it is added then there will be problem of double counting.
