Answer :

As we know this formula represent the magnetic field lines in an area A to magnetic flux B. Now the number of magnetic field lines passing through the surface can be considered as the magnetic flux lines.

Also we know that magnetic field lines B always follow continuity means lines can’t be break so B can’t end or start in space.


Hence we can say that the number of lines passing through S1 must be the same as the number of lines passing through S2 surface.


Therefore, flux in both the cases i.e. S1 & S2 will be same.
