(b) Ca(OH)2 +.... CaC03 + H20

Answer :

(a) 2NaOH + H2SO4 Na2S04 + 2H2O

Sodium hydroxide reacts with Sulphuric acid to give Sodium sulphate and water.

(b) Ca(OH)2 + CO2 CaCO3 + H2O

Calcium hydroxide reacts with carbon dioxide to give Calcium carbonate and water.
