1. Non-Cooperation Movement.
The Non-Cooperation Movement began in the year 1920. Mahatma Gandhi led the movement which boycotted all Government offices, foreign goods, government schools and colleges and law courts.
2. Salt satyagraha
The salt Satyagraha was the first step in the Civil
Disobedience Movement. It was led by Mahatma Gandhiji from a place called Dandi in Gujarat in the year 1930.
3. The second round table conference
The Second Round Table Conference was held in the year 1931. Mahatma Gandhi was the representative of the Indian National Congress.
4. The Gandhi Irwin pact
A pact was signed between Gandhiji and the British Viceroy Irwin in the year 1931 which marked the withdrawal of the Civil Disobedience Movement.
5. Agakhan Imprisonment
Mahatma Gandhi, his wife Kasturba Gandhi and his assistant Mahadev Desai were held as captives in Agakhan palace during the period 1942 to 1944. Kasturba Gandhi and Mahadev Desai died here.
