a. The birth of an individual decides his position in the hierarchy of caste. The people had no choice over the caste that they were associated with.
b. The social status of the individual in the hierarchy of caste will decide their occupation.
c. Even in a single occupation, their many subdivisions.
c. The people facing discrimination usually belong to the lower caste and or a constant victim of humiliation and exploitation.

a. Social stratification is a system in which people are categorized and ranked in the hierarchy in society.
b.It is not only a function of individual differences but a general characteristic of a society.
