Calculate the resistance of a copper wire 1.0 km long and 0.50 mm diameter if the resistivity of copper is 1.7×10-8 Ω m.
Answer :
According to Question,
Length of Wire= 1km=1000m
Diameter of Wire=0.50mm
∴ Radius of wire= 0.25mm=0.25x10-3m
