Calculate the kinetic energy of a body of mass 50 Kg moving with a velocity of 50 cm
Answer :
Given,
Mass m = 50 kg
Velocity = 50 cms-1
1 cm = 0.01 m
So, velocity = 50 ×0.01 ms-1
v = 0.5 ms-1
We know,
Kinetic energy = m v2
Substituting value of m and v in the equation:
Kinetic energy =
= kgm2s-2
= 6 J
