Calculate t

Answer :

We know that, Gravitational force acting between two object is given by:

F = G×         ...........(1)

where,

G is the Gravitational constant = 6.7 × 10-11 Nm2/kg2

m1 is the Mass of earth = 6 × 1024 kg

m2 is the Mass of sun, m2 = 2 × 1030 kg

r is the distance between the earth and the sun= 1.5 × 1011 m

Now, putting all these values in  equation 1, we get:

F =

F = 3.57 × 1022 N

The Force exerted on the Earth by the sun is 3.5 × 1022 N
