Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University, formally known as King George’s Medical University is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. King George's college became deemed university by an act passed by the government of India on 16 September 2002.
Course Information:
The course is 4 ½ years duration along with One Year of mandatory Internship.
KGMU admission 2020:
KGMU MBBS admission 2020 will be done through NEET 2020 score. NEET is a national level medical entrance exam. All candidates must qualify NEET 2017 in order to be considered for admissions. Only those candidates who clear NEET cut off for KGMU will be eligible for the admission in the most recognized university of Uttar Pradesh.
Number of Seats:
Aspiring MBBS candidates will be competing for a total of 250 Seats. 210 seats will be filled on the basis of 85 % Uttar Pradesh Quota. Rest seats will be filled by 15 % AIQ (All India Quota).

KGMU MBBS Admission 2020:
Students will get admission to KGMU MBBS course through Counselling procedures, which will commence shortly after the declaration of NEET 2020 Scores. The notification for the detailed counseling procedure and commencement details will be displayed on the official website https://kgmu.org/. Based on this notification, students will be required to register online for UP NEET Counseling 2020. Following this, a merit list will then be displayed on the official portal of KGMU NEET Counseling 2020.
