GTSE is a two-round talent search scholarship exam, which attracts participation from thousands of students across the country. The top 1000 students from the first round become eligible for second-round examination, rewards, and participation certificates. GTSE Syllabus 2020 (August/September)
Goprep prepares this national-level talent test for Classes 8 to 12 based on the topics covered in the previous classes. Below we have elaborated how the GTSE Syllabus shall differ between Classes 8-10 and Class 11-12.
- For Classes 8 to 10: The question paper of GTSE will consist of 3 sections, which are Maths, Science, and General Aptitude. In total, 50 questions are asked from all these sections. Each question carries 2 marks and negative marking is not applicable.
- For Class 11 & 12+: Question papers for NEET and JEE aspirants consists of 4 sections, which are General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (for JEE aspirants)/ Biology (NEET aspirants). Each question carries the weightage of 2 marks.
GTSE Exam Pattern 2020 (August/September)
Understanding the marking scheme is of utmost importance as you get to know the number of questions asked from each section, the weightage of each section, and marks allotted for each question. Note that there is no negative marking applicable for incorrect responses for all Classes.
