Given:

Radius of the horizontal loop = r = 1 km = 1000m

Speed of the aircraft = v = 900 km/hr

= 250 m/s

= 62.5 m/s2

Acceleration due to gravity = g= 9.8 m/s2

ac/g = 62.5/9.8 = 6.38

Ratio of centripetal acceleration and acceleration due to gravity is 6.38.
