The rise of Road Accidents: A Daily Affair

With the introduction of motor vehicles, the convenience of traveling with ease and comfort in everybody's minds, traffic jams and accidents have become common and a daily affair. From early morning to night, there are too many vehicles swarming the roads, especially during business hours and lead to heavy jams and traffic snarls. People have to spend several hours standing in one place and it frustrates and irritates them. To make matters worse, several road accidents are taking place due to speeding, reckless driving, jay-walking by pedestrians, excessive overtaking, etc. because people are constantly rushing and have less regard for safety. Drunk driving, talking on cell phones while driving has also become major causes of accidents and cause tremendous loss of life and permanent handicapping. Road accidents, nowadays, account for maximum human deaths owing to daily occurrences and must be reduced since it causes trauma to the relatives of the deceased and the survivors of such accidents.
