Answer :

The central fringe is the brightest fringe formed by all colors interfered constructively. Hence it will be white and option(A) is correct.

As different wavelengths are present, maxima of some will coincide with minima of others. So there will be no dark fringes. Option (B) is also correct.


The violet light, due to its short wavelength will have minima right next to its central maxima. Similarly, indigo will have the next minima, then blue and so on, till only red is left. so, the next fringe will be red. hence, option (c) is correct.
