(a) The dispersed phase and dispersion medium of butter is liquid and solid respectively. It is a type of gel.
(b) Physisorption decreases with increase in temperature because it is exothermic in nature. Then according to Le Chatilier’s principle low temperature is favourable for physisorption.
(c) When AgNO3 is added to slight excess of KI, the precipitate AgI adsorbs I- from the dispersion medium resulting in a negative sol, AgI/I-.
