motional emf produced due to a conductor of length l moving with velocity v in a magnetic field B is given by It is given that plane of motion is perpendicular to electric field i.e. angle between v and B =90°

And the angle between velocity and length of wire=60°  We take only that component of length vector which is perpendicular to velocity vector
