Ancient Indian literature is extremely rich. The works of Aryabhatta, Brahmagupta, Sushutra and many others in ancient India are well known. ‘zero’ was given to the world by India. In modern India, the rational, scientific and analytical values imbibed in ancient literature led to the development of modern scientific literature. For example, the Arya Samaj made a successful effort by reviving Vedic maths and combined it with modern education in sciences.
