# A Honda City car, A Maruti Alto car, A Tata Nano car and a Mahindra Scorpio car, all are running at the same speed of 50 m/s under identical conditions. If al these cars are hit from behind with the same force and they continue to move forward, the maximum acceleration will be produced in: Mass of the different vehicles: Honda City – 1150Kg, Maruti Alto-720Kg, Tata Nano-600Kg,Mahindra Scorpio-2510KgA. Honda City B. Maruti AltoC. Tata Nano D. Mahindra Scorpio

Since the speed of all the vehicles are same, hence the accelaration will depend on the the mass of the object.

Since, Accelaration is inversely proportional to the mass of the object.

Hence, the maximum accelaration will be of Tata Nano.
