Hemophilia is a sex-linked recessive disorder where the blood fails to clot. This type of disorder is linked with the X chromosome, i.e., the defective gene is present on the X chromosome and not on the Y chromosome. And we know, a father passes Y chromosome to his son. Hence the gene for haemophilia can never be passed from father to son.
