Write true or false for the following statements :
A force does not work, if it produces no motion.
Answer :
False
Explanation: work is said to be done when a force produces motion.
Work done (W) in moving an object is equal to the product of force (F) and the displacement(s) of body in the direction of force.
Work done= F×s
If there is no motion then there will be no displacement, i.e. s=0, so work done will be zero.
